Message From BANE Chief Election Commissioner 2023
Dear Respected Members,
This is to inform you that, we the Election Commission went through the voter list and certify that all the below members from both panel has met the criteria to participate in the upcoming BANE election to be held next month. All of them are current paid members of BANE and are eligible to run for the election. They are below:

Based on our last meeting with both panels here are some information related to the election and voting process:
Voting Date: November 10 th from 7pm to 9:30 pm and November 11th from 9AM to 5 PM
Voting Location: Morse Elementary School, 40 Granite St, Cambridge, MA 02139
Different Voting Process: In person, Absentee Ballot and Mail In Ballot
In Person: Please come between 9AM to 5PM to the above address and cast your vote by providing your certified ID
Absentee Ballot: Please call the Election Commission (number to be provided in a separate email) or send us email [email protected] with your valid reason to the satisfaction of election commission. Provide a copy of your valid ID..
Mail In Ballot: Please call the Election Commission (phone number will be sent through a separate email ) or send us email [email protected] with your valid reason to the satisfaction of election commission. Provide a copy of your valid ID through video call through FaceTime or What’s App and time for that call will be 6pm to 9 pm from November 1st to November 6th.
Last Day to Request: November 1st through November 6th and needs to reach to Election commission by 5PM on November10th. Anything that will reach beyond that date and time and will not be accepted.

Proof of Identification: Any New England State’s official ID or copy of Passport (Need proof of residency). Student ID will be applicable for any students in New England area.
Here are some rules that Election Commission will strictly follow:
- No campaign during the voting hours at the polling center
- No candidates will be allowed within the premises
- Only Election Commission designated people and current BANE executive President will be allowed.
- Each panel will provide a polling agent from each side to verify the in person voting members.
If any panel or any voters violate the above rules, the election commission will take necessary action on the spot based on the authority given to them by the constitution. One thing we would like to make it clear to all the parties Section 7 of the Election Procedures clearly states that “The decision of the election commission shall be final in all matters concerning election.”
Going forward we will communicate only with one POC (maybe campaign manager) from each panel, the President candidates and the current BANE executive President. We will not entertain any communications from anyone beside those people that mentioned.
